Recently, the GW147 blade, the world's longest blade designed by Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd. and produced on a trial basis by Sinoma Wind Power Blade Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sinoma Blade" of the Company) Yangjiang Company, successfully passed the static test verification, marking that China's wind power blade design, manufacturing, and testing levels have achieved a new breakthrough, providing strong data support for the technical research of super-large wind power blades.
Sinoma Blade has always been set great store by technological innovation, providing its clients with customized blade design, development, and technical services. Its products now cover mainstream generator set platforms ranging from 1MW to 16+MW. What’s more, Sinoma Blade boasts the capability of supplying products of full series. Since its product quality is stable and reliable, the Company has firmly cultivated the "Sinoma Blade" brand in the industry. Since 2011, Sinoma Blade’s market presence in China has ranked among the top for 13 consecutive years. The Company has continuously promoted industrial globalization, built 13 production bases at home and abroad, and developed more than 150 products. It has a designed capacity of producing 30 million kilowatts of wind power blades per year. So far, the Company’s products are operating stably in 44 countries including China, Australia, Pakistan, Chile, and Brazil.
The GW147 blade is an ultra-long blade specially designed for offshore wind power generation. The blade is 147 m long with a rated power of 20 MW. During the trial production process, the R&D personnel of Goldwind and Sinoma Blade worked together and relied on top-notch mechanized and automated equipment for process planning. As a result, they conquered a series of technical problems such as large-component prefabrication, ultra-thick and ultra-long perfusion, and mold clamping & bonding. The product passed the static test verification in one go during the full-scale testing process.
