During the period from November 26 to November 27, Liu Jianwen, Zhou Fangsheng, Li Jun, and Xia Xue, independent non-executive directors of China National Building Material Company Limited (CNMB), Shen Yungang, non-executive director of CNMB, and Li Xuan and Wei Jianguo, independent supervisors of CNMB, went to BNBM Carpoly and Sinoma Blade Yangjiang Base for investigation. Meanwhile, they went deep into the front line for learning about the business operation and development.
First Stop: BNBM Carpoly
On the morning of November 26, the investigation team went to BNBM Carpoly for on-site research. During its visit to the showroom and R&D center of BNBM Carpoly, the team thoroughly investigated the achievements made by BNBM Carpoly in business development, sci-tech innovation, digital intelligence, and green & low carbon, etc. Also, the team had in-depth exchanges with the management of Beijing New Building Materials Public Limited Company (BNBM) and BNBM Carpoly on integration and development strategies etc.
Directors and supervisors of the team pointed out that a good integration result has been achieved in the matchmaking between BNBM and BNBM Carpoly. BNBM Carpoly should keep giving play to its advantages as a mixed-ownership enterprise, integrate the key state-owned enterprise’s strength with the private enterprise’s vitality, further reinforce the complementary resource advantages, and enhance the company's core competitiveness and innovation ability. BNBM Carpoly should persist in sci-tech innovation, continuously reduce costs and increase efficiency, and keep improving the brand awareness and customer satisfaction in the market. Meanwhile, it should focus on CNBM’s international development strategy to grow stronger, better, and larger. Also, BNBM Carpoly should put in place “Green, Low-carbon, and Digitalization” concept, assist in the coating industry's green and intelligent transformation, promote the company’s high-quality development, and accelerate the implementation of BNBM’s "One Core with Two Wings" strategy.
Second Stop: Sinoma Blade Yangjiang Base
On the afternoon of November 26 and the morning of November 27, the investigation team went to Sinoma Blade Yangjiang Base for on-site research. During its visit to the showroom and the production lines of 122-meter and 147-meter large wind power blades, the team learned in detail about the achievements made by Sinoma Blade Yangjiang Base in sci-tech innovation and digital intelligence. Besides that, the team had in-depth exchanges with the management of Sinoma Science & Technology and Sinoma Blade on business development and the "Two Seas" strategy.
According to directors and supervisors of the team, under the guidance of CNBM’s strategies, Sinoma Blade has been deeply engaged in tapping its core business and integrating resources for keeping pace with the first-class counterparts. Today, Sinoma Blade has grown into a leading enterprise in the global wind power blade industry. Sinoma Blade should further implement the "Two Seas" strategy and keep shoring up its market position. It should build a lean and digital operation system, and continuously improve the lean management level in blade manufacturing. Sinoma Blade should stress sci-tech innovation to enhance the automation level in wind power blade manufacturing. In addition, Sinoma Blade is supposed to maintain its leadership in cost effectiveness, keep optimizing the customer structure, and improve the profitability and core competitiveness. All in all, Sinoma Blade should bring into play its product advantages, develop green products throughout the life cycle, and grow into a world-class wind power blade enterprise with global competitiveness.
