On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, Sinoma Technology Wind Power Blade Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sinoma Blade") successfully produced its first Sinoma85.6-8.xMW offshore blade in Funing, Jiangsu on September 28, 2019, as a gift to the motherland.
Sinoma 85.6 blade is a product independently designed and developed by Sinoma Blade with complete independent intellectual property rights, suitable for Class I and II high wind zones of 8.xMW at sea. It has the characteristics of high reliability, low load, lightweight, and easy manufacturing. It is currently the largest single machine power all glass fiber offshore blade in China. It adopts advanced low load high-efficiency lightweight design concepts, with a blade length of 85.6m, a maximum chord length of 4.88m, a wind turbine diameter of 175m, and a sweeping area of 23891 square meters, equivalent to the size of 3.3 standard football fields.
Zhongcai Blade has multiple offshore blades suitable for 4. xMW-8. xMW, with lengths ranging from 72m to 85.6m. The system has mastered the aerodynamic design, material design, structural design, lightning protection design, and anti-corrosion design technologies of offshore wind turbine blades. The successful development of Sinoma85.6 blades marks new progress in the field of offshore blade technology by Sinoma Blades, following the independent development and launch of Sinoma75 and Sinoma77.7 offshore large blades, opening up a new offshore market space.
