On August 28, 2023, off-line ceremony for Sinoma Wind Power Blade (Yangjiang) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Sinoma Blade Yangjiang" or the Company)’s first wind turbine blade was held in the factory workshop. Xu Lei, general manager of Guangdong-based Company of Goldwind Science and Technology Co., Ltd. and President of Offshore Wind Power Design and Research Institute, Zhang Jinfeng, general manager of CGC Beijing New Energy Testing Center, vice general manager of Wind Energy Division, and secretary general of Yangjiang Wind Energy Association, and representatives of more than 30 enterprises were invited to attend the event.
Wang Xin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and general manager of Sinoma Blade, expounded on the status quo of the wind power industry and the strategic importance of the launch of the first blade produced by Sinoma Blade Yangjiang. He brought forth the staged goal of developing Sinoma Blade Yangjiang into the leading wind power blade production base in South China. He emphasized that by upholding the corporate vision "Borrowing natural wind power to give humans a breath of fresh air", Sinoma Blade, with a spirit of forging ahead and courageously moving forward, will earnestly fulfill the responsibilities of a key state-owned enterprise, work together with the local government, and make new and greater contributions to promoting the development of China's new energy industry and the local social and economic development of Yangjiang!
Xu Lei, on behalf of Goldwind, delivered a speech on project cooperation and development from the perspective of Sinoma Blade's strategic partner. He expresses confidence in further cooperation between the two sides in the field of wind power. On behalf of the Yangjiang Wind Energy Association, Zhang Jinfeng expressed his recognition to various achievements made by Sinoma Blade Yangjiang Project since its commencement, praised the hard-working spirit of the Sinoma people, and sincerely congratulated the progress of the all-around cooperation between Sinoma Science & Technology and the Binhai New Area.
Sinoma Blade Yangjiang’s first blade rolled off the production line, marking the beginning of Sinoma Blade's development in South China. The Company will be committed to developing new materials and new energy industries, promoting the sustainable and healthy development of the wind power industry, and contributing to the well-being of society and the beautification of the blue sky.
Yangjiang Company, founded on April 28, 2022, is a significant achievement of Sinoma Blade in actively responding to China National Building Material Group's further implementation of the national offshore wind power planning, the Group's new energy and new material development strategy, and the "Two Seas" strategy. Sinoma Blade Yangjiang Company is mainly engaged in the production of large composite wind turbine blades. It commenced production in July 2023, and once it reaches its full capacity, it will have the capability to produce 200 sets of large wind turbine blades ranging from 100 to 150 meters in length per year. At that time, this industrial base project will become a significant large-scale wind turbine blade R&D and manufacturing hub in South China and Southeast Asia.
