On August 28, 2023, Sinoma Wind Power Blade (Yangjiang) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter called Yangjiang Company) held the launch ceremony of its first wind shovel in the factory shed. Mr. Xu Lei, General Director of Goldwind Science & Technology (Guangdong) Co., Ltd. and Director of Offshore Wind Energy Research and Design Institute, Mr. Zhang Jinfeng, General Director of China General Certification Center Renewable Energy Testing Center, Deputy General Director of Wind Energy Department and General Secretary of Yangjiang Wind Energy Association, among other representatives from more than 30 companies, were invited to attend the event.
Wang Xin, deputy secretary of the Communist Party committee and general manager of Sinoma Blade, highlighted the current scenario of the wind power industry and the strategic importance of launching Yangjiang Company's first wind shovel. He also presented the goal of transforming Sinoma Wind Power Blade (Yangjiang) Co., Ltd. into a leading wind blade production base in southern China. He emphasized that Sinoma Blade will continue to follow the corporate vision of "Taking the strength of the wind, providing humanity with renewed freshness" and, with an attitude of constant advancement and determination, will fulfill its responsibilities as a state-owned enterprise. It will work closely with the local government to further contribute to the development of the renewable energy industry in China and to the social and economic development of Yangjiang.
Xu Lei, representing Goldwind Science & Technology Co., Ltd., gave a speech on the cooperation and development of the project, highlighting the strategic partnership with Sinoma Blade. He expressed mutual confidence in the continuity and deepening of cooperation between the two parties in the wind energy sector. Zhang Jinfeng, representative of Yangjiang Wind Energy Association, recognized the achievements of Yangjiang Project since the beginning of construction and praised the fighting spirit of Sinoma Blade team. He also expressed his sincere congratulations for the progress of comprehensive cooperation between Sinoma Blade and Tianjin City Binghaixinqu District.
The first wind shovel of Sinoma Wind Power Blade (Yangjiang) Co., Ltd. was produced, marking the beginning of the company's development in southern China region. The company is committed to developing the industry of new materials and renewable energy, promoting the sustainable development of the wind industry and contributing to social welfare and environmental improvement.
Yangjiang Company was founded on April 28, 2022, as an important milestone in Sinoma Blade's response to deepening national planning for offshore wind power, the new materials and renewable energy strategy of China's National Building Materials Group, and the "National and International" strategy. Sinoma Wind Power Blade (Yangjiang) Co., Ltd., which started production in July 2023, is dedicated to manufacturing large-sized blades for wind turbines with composite materials. When it reaches its full capacity, the unit will be able to produce 200 sets of wind blades from 100 to 150 meters annually, becoming a large wind blade research, development and manufacturing center in South China and Southeast Asia.
