Sinoma Blade Yangjiang Carries out Fire Fighting and Rescue Drill
To further draw the lessons from many fire accidents across the country that took place recently, implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping and Premier Li Qiang’s important comments and instructions on work safety, enhance the ability of enterprises and employees to organize rescue and self-rescue in response to sudden fires, and strengthen the linkage between enterprises and fire brigades, Sinoma Blade Yangjiang (the Company) joined hands with High-tech District Fire Brigade to conduct a firefighting and rescue drill on March 1.
The scale of the drill was unprecedented, and the forces involved in the drill were made up of special service fire rescue station firefighting team, water supply team, high-pressure jetting firefighting team, and emergency rescue team. Equipment used included one high-lift jet fire truck, one emergency rescue fire truck, two high-power water tank fire trucks, one foam water tank fire truck, one air-inflating vehicle, and one equipment transport vehicle. Over 200 persons participated in the drill.
The drill was carried out in three stages, namely self-rescue stage, fire fighting stage and ending stage. The drill content included personnel evacuation and escape, fire fighting by enterprise, trapped person search and rescue, water gun fire fighting and bubble position fire fighting, and elevated jetting fire truck cooling down the factory building. Through this drill, the fire safety awareness and self-rescue skills of employees and cadres were greatly improved.
