Lianyungang Company Organizes Joint Fire Drill to Guard against Disasters

On June 20, Zhongfu Lianzhong Wind Power Blade (Lianyungang) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the Company) organized a joint fire drill under the guidance and support of the Municipal Emergency Management Bureau and the Fire Rescue Brigade of the Municipal Development Area. Through the drill, the Company actively promoted the socialization process of fire protection work and improve the employees' fire safety awareness and emergency response capability.

The drill started with outbreak of a "fire" in one workshop of the Company. On-duty staff in the fire control room quickly discovered and reported the fire, and the fire fighting action team arrived at the scene in time. Since the fire could not be extinguished, relevant measures, such as sounding the alarm bell and organizing on-site employees to remove flammable items, were immediately taken, and a report was made to the headquarters. The headquarters quickly started the emergency plan and dialed 119. After receiving the order from the headquarters, the communication liaison team immediately arranged personnel to guide the 119 fire brigade, and notified each fire protection team to start the emergency plan.

After hearing the emergency evacuation order via broadcast, each department immediately organized employees to evacuate in an orderly manner, and the evacuation guidance team took charge of the evacuation. The equipment support supervisor cut off the power supply in time. The managers and supervisors of each department ensured the evacuation order and avoided congestion and stampede accident. After hearing the alarm bell, the fire protection team quickly carried firefighting equipment to the fire scene to participate in the fire fighting. The rescue team successfully rescued a "wounded person" and gave the first aid. Five minutes after the alarm bell rang, all evacuated personnel of the Company were guided to the assembly point, where they were arranged by department, and each department counted and reported the number of the persons.

Through this drill, the Company further strengthened all employees’ fire safety awareness and emergency-handling ability, and improved the coordination and cooperation ability among departments. The drill warned employees to maintain a high sense of safety in work, strictly abide by fire safety regulations, and guard against disasters.
